    Poggio ai Merli is a single-varietal Merlot that is completely centred on the terroir of central Tuscany and consistently embodies the Castellare style. In the glass, it shows a lot of varietal character, but with a good kick of freshness thanks to the moderate growing season and the Tuscan accents that characterise this wine. Menthol, lavender, sage and pine add a range of nuances to the core of dark fruit in this very pretty and expressive wine from Castellare. Fruity, spicy and very long. SUPERIORE.DE
