Only 3,200 magnum bottles (and a few double magnums) of this exceptional wine from the Caberlot grape variety are produced at Bettina Rogosky's winery. Brilliant ruby-violet colour, spicy notes and rich dark berry fruit aromas on the nose. Juicy and clear on the palate, unfolds with dense, fine-grained tannins. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red colour. Mint chocolate, ripe blackberries, dried rose petals, cold smoke and cold stone on the nose, with some leather and pepper on the finish. Textured on the palate, with a delicately creamy body, powerful, compact, comes in many layers, still a little young tannin on the final, salty and very long finish." Falstaff

"The 2020 Caberlot is a delicate, understated wine in relative terms. Structurally, the 2020 feels a bit soft, most likely because of rain during harvest. Inviting aromatics and mid-weight structure are the calling cards. Bright, red-toned fruit, rose petals, mint, dried herbs, incense and blood orange are nicely delineated. In 2020, Caberlot is quite understated. I find it one of the quietest, hushed Caberlots I can remember tasting. This will drink well with minimal cellaring." Vinous
