The vineyards for this likeable Vermentino are located on gentle hills with the typical iron-rich soils of the Maremma, a mixture of silt and alluvial sand with gravel and crushed stone. Mongrana Bianco reflects the characteristic qualities of its red sibling and beautifully illustrates the quality that Querciabella has been bringing to the bottle in the Maremma for years: restrained power, freshness and saltiness from the coast and a purity of fruit that is the winery's trademark.
