"The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigneto San Marcellino 2016 is a dense, full-bodied wine. harvestwill have to be patient, as the 2016 is a toddler. Overripe blue and violet fruits, spices, leather, tobacco and menthol unfold in the glass. The 2016 is dense and lush, yet the acids pulse with energy and lend a sense of transparency that is particularly evident on the finish. This combination makes for a compelling Gran Selezione that should age well for 15-20 years or more." Vinous
