Bright yellow organic Vermentino with a small proportion of Grechetto. The idea came from Maurizio Castelli, who also advises the Barberani winery in Umbria. Maurizio Castelli creates this marvellous white wine from the Tuscan coast from a traditional, local blend based on a historical model and always picks the grapes quite late. The nose has a bright aroma of apple, pear, flint and a certain exoticism. Maurizio Castelli does not like fancy names. Tirrenico comes from the west coast of Tuscany. Rich, dark ruby red colour. Rich bouquet of dark fruit, maquis, stone fruit and some fig, hints of flowers and lavender. Fleshy and juicy on the palate, with a fine acid wire and subtle flavours of berries, dried flowers and coffee. The tannins are polished and the final is finely spiced with a full, round finish.
