The grapes for this single-varietal Grenache come from a plot planted in 2014 at 350 metres above sea level. The rocky, calcareous clay is mixed with some soils of volcanic origin. The maceration on the skins in amphorae (called "orcio" in Italian) lasts up to five months and the stems are included. The last three months of ageing are spent in barriques, as this contributes to the natural clarification of this essentially unfiltered wine. No sulphites are added except at bottling. Just 2,000 bottles are produced each year.

This beautiful red is bursting with energy and electricity from the absolute purity and clarity of the fruit. On the nose, lots of fresh blackberries with freshly turned soil, lavender, herbs and lemon peel. You taste every little juicy detail with sour cherry, red berries, dried oregano, aniseed and a hint of preserved peach. G. Punto is vertical with a distinct personality.
