Keir Ansonica is the white answer to Keir Syrah, which is also aged in amphorae. A wine produced in a small edition of 2,000 bottles, neither clarified nor filtered, it is an expression of innovation and tradition at the same time.

Light golden yellow. Fine, reductive bouquet of lemon peel, tropical fruits and yellow apple with hints of smoke, honey, spices, herbs and broom. Dry, medium-bodied palate with nice acidity, freshness and complexity. The flavours reflect the bouquet beautifully and lead into a medium length finish. "This is the first vintage of a Keir white wine, made from Ansonica macerated on the skins in amphorae for two months. Unclarified and unfiltered, it has a deep, golden, Sauternes-like colour, with waxy orange peel aromas and just a hint of mineral and irony. Salty, savoury flavours on the palate are accompanied by a noticeable tannic edge. A twist of orange peel make this a characterful wine, perfect for drinking with spicy Szechuan-style dishes."
