    Altesino's Rosso di Montalcino, aged for eight months in Slavonian oak barrels, offers a persistent bouquet of cherry, pomegranate, earth and eucalyptus. It is silky smooth and polished, with racy red and black fruits flowing over a stream of vibrant acidity.
