On the palate it is a real pleasure, soft, round, almost creamy yet fresh, with an abundance of ripe wild berries, underlined by salty minerals and a sweet herbal note towards the end. Despite its vintage character, this wine has classically grippy tannins and admirable concentration, finishing dramatically long and haunting dark.
