“Pèppoli” Chianti Classico DOCG 2022
Pèppoli is an entertaining, very relaxed red wine with a firm fan base. A sparkling, intense ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. The Pèppoli expresses its strong personality through its bouquet of ripe fruit with light mineral accents. The flavour spreads gently yet powerfully on the palate with lively tannins and a long finish. Very easy to drink, very classic and, incidentally, excellent value! SUPERIORE.DE
"Graceful and familiar, Pèppoli is like a cheerful postcard from the Chianti region. It enchants with shiny cherries, cinnamon and chopped basil. Accents of leather and smoky toast are appropriately restrained. On the palate, the fruit takes centre stage: stewed plums and blackberries meld effortlessly with light, supple tannins that bring just a hint of dust. Juicy on the finish." Decanter
"The Chianti Classico Pèppoli 2022, Antinori's entry-level offering, is a fine start to the year that shows just how compelling this vintage can be. The 2022 is bright, floral and beautifully lifted and has class. The understated, refreshing style is so compelling." Vinous
"Balanced and moderately long, this bright, fruity red offers cherry, strawberry and light earth flavors in a charming, approachable profile." Wine Spectator

“Poggio ai Ginepri” Rosso Toscana IGT 2022
Attractive bouquet with the typical flavours of a Cabernet-Syrah-Merlot blend such as cedar wood, leather and dark fruit. Powerful and densely woven body, perfectly balanced in acidity and tannin structure with a beautiful finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby colour with a dark core. The bouquet is slightly vegetal with a medicinal note, some iodine, followed by blackberries and plums. Medium weight on the palate, prancing acidity, medium palate pressure, some sour cherry retronasal, medium, lingering finish." Falstaff
"A powerful red wine with aromas and flavours of hazelnuts, mint chocolate, blueberries and redcurrants. It is medium to full-bodied with slightly dusty, chewy tannins." James Suckling
"The extremely sanguine, earthy nose is a wintry feast of peppered, grilled meats, butter-roasted mushrooms and stewed plums and figs. On the palate, an emerging saltiness works with a lingering peppery flavour to push back the stronger fruit notes before everything bursts into flames in a hot, sour and astringent finish." “Per Caterina” Colorino Toscana IGT 2018
The new single varietal Colorino Per Caterina opens with a slightly darker colour and more garnet concentration than the Ciliegiolo and Sangiovese produced at Piancornello. This autochthonous grape variety usually adds colour to traditional red wine blends and on its own the grape offers a nice fibre and density, flanked by powerful primary aromas and some black pepper. A pure and rather purist wine with a fresh, bright acidity - for us an ideal companion to grilled meat. SUPERIORE.DE

Complex aromas of ripe plums, raspberries, candied orange zest and hints of spice harmonise perfectly. Well-articulated and rich flavour with polished tannins, full-bodied and progressive. SUPERIORE.DE
"Clear aroma of ripe black berries and rose hips with dried floral and slightly herbal aromas, a hint of leather, some dark ethereal spice, tobacco ash and hints of herbs. Ripe, clear and firm, tart-juicy fruit, present, yet quite fine tannins, some smoke and toast on the palate, a certain acid bite, dried-vegetable to herbaceous tones, good persistence. Has power, but still a certain coolness, very good, firm finish with oregano." Wein-Plus
"Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Smells of graphite, dark berry fruit and fine earthy tones on the nose. Polished on the palate, with a juicy core and a clear fruit flavour, the tannins remain subtly in the background." Falstaff
"Dried cherries, dates, oak, leather, wet leaves and French toast. Good fruit concentration, a smooth mouthfeel, vibrant acidity and a long finish. Robust tannins need some time to resolve." Decanter
"A fragrant red with a shy nose of blue fruits, dried herbs and some crushed rocks and raspberries. Tightly wound and medium to full-bodied with delicate red fruit flavours. Very compact, with an elegant stiffness that is very appealing. Pure Sangiovese from a single vineyard in Radda in Chianti, one of the highest villages in Chianti Classico. It shows a primary intensity with sweet fruit and without being affected by excessive ageing." Wine Advocate
"The Chianti Classico 2022 is forward, juicy and very easy to like. A burst of dark red fruit, spice, cedar and leather makes a strong statement at the start. Although the 2022 doesn't offer the nuance of most vintages, it makes up for it with its charming, inviting personality." Vinous
"Ripe and juicy, this red wine begins with flavours of cherries, raspberries and flowers, underlined by iron and wild undergrowth. It firms up on the finish and shows a pleasant astringency." Wine Spectator
"The youthful violet colour suggests a healthy dash of Colorino. Deep red cherries and wild strawberries are infused with fragrant Mediterranean herbs and a distinct note of orange blossom. The palate is richly filled with tangy, tart berries infused with light, grainy tannins that add nuance to the texture. A hint of pepper and a savoury saltiness whet the appetite." Decanter
"Fresh, racy strawberries, red cherries and a hint of pastry and pomegranates on the nose. On the palate, it is firm and expressive, with beautifully chewy tannins and a medium body. Plenty of berry fruit in its elegant, long finish. Drink now or keep." James Suckling
"A cornerstone of the Classico, a label with precise and impeccable workmanship. On the nose, red mulberry, hints of rhubarb and eucalyptus, with a touch of black pepper. “Mazzapink” Rosso Toscana IGT 2023
Valgiano should be experienced if you want to know your way around the world of biodynamic viticulture. Now Mazzapink has been added! Already the design distinguishes it from the other wines of the estate: the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro in Lucca's centre can be found on the label as well as the Valgian-(h)orn, a work of art at the entrance of the winery. The artist Sara Di Giovanni translated the specifications into the form of a comic strip, as Lucca is considered one of the centres of European comic art.
Mazzarosa is a vineyard managed by Valgiano. 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet grow here. The new Valgiano wine is the result of a neighbourly cooperation for the biodynamic cultivation of the vineyards located between San Pietro a Marcigliano and Sant'Andrea. The grapes are crushed with the feet, the spontaneously fermenting must is aged after a few days partly in concrete, partly in wood. The wine presents itself with a lot of fruit and enormously accessible, yet complex and sophisticated, and as always: Just like the classic wines of the estate, the Mazzapink should also reflect its terroir - an entry-level wine of considerable quality! Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2022
Ruby red with garnet-coloured reflections. Bright, fresh nose of wild cherries, potting soil and blue flowers. Compact, medium-bodied with a fresh acid wire and well-integrated tannins. A paragon of Sangiovese, which is not only arousing enthusiasm due to its very attractive price. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, rich ruby red colour. Spicy nose of precious wood and Mediterranean herbs, with rich dark berry fruit, light vanilla sugar flavours, reminiscent of sage, black tea and blackberries. Polished and rich on the palate, with rich, clear fruit, profound, slightly bitter on the finish due to the high alcohol content." Falstaff

Rosato Toscana IGT 2023 (BIO)
Delicate salmon pink colour. Fresh and subtle raspberry nose with a hint of pomegranate. Clean and precise flavour with fine acidity and subtle hints of red berries and some crisp Braeburn apple. The finish is long and supple - and again with a fine acid wire acidity that only Sean O'Callaghan can bring to the glass. An indispensable companion for happy and carefree days. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright salmon colour, sparkling. Very fragrant nose of fresh peach, white flowers, some cherry fruit, underpinned by light spice. Very juicy on the palate, clear, with a cool fruit centre, well-integrated acidity, delicately dancing, pure." Falstaff
"The 2023 Rosato is a 100% Sangiovese from vines that were harvested a few weeks before the harvest during a final thinning. The 2023 is layered and vibrant, with great depth and offers lovely complexity and character. This is another excellent entry-level wine from Tenuta di Carleone." Vinous
"Here is a crisp, saline and succulent rosé with forest berries, apricot skin and mild spices on the nose, following through to a medium body with bright acidity. Refreshing, balanced and textured, with an attractive, mouthwatering finish." James Suckling

“Scalabrone” Rosato Bolgheri DOC 2023
Scalabrone presents itself generously every year, but also incredibly fresh. It shows ripe strawberries with a hint of sweet cream, tropical kiwi and lime. It washes over the palate with lightness, carrying ripe red fruit, a hint of melon and a savoury minerality. The finish is long and flanked by lively acidity and salty minerals. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah is perfectly balanced and makes this flavoursome rosato one of the most vibrant in the appellation every year. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark sparkling pink. Opens invitingly to raspberries and juicy sour cherries, underpinned by the scent of violets. Very fresh on the palate, dense fruit core, compact and juicy through to the medium-long finish." Falstaff
"Before the advent of the famed reds of the area, the first officially established DOCs in Bolgheri were based on white and rosé wines, and Antinori's 'Scalabrone' was one of the first wines to be bottled under the DOC Bolgheri Rosato. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a tiny portion of Syrah produce a delightful rosé with a Mediterranean touch. Bright pink at the core with a pale reflection, lovely bouquet of cherries and wild berries with a rose petal hint, then a fruity palate with lively acidity and a pleasant finish." Decanter
"The 2023 Rosato Scalabrone from Bolgheri shines almost neon pink in the glass. The seriousness of the aromas and flavours belies the cheerful colour - it is multi-layered and complex. Blood orange, paprika, bergamot, stemmed herbs, forest floor and a hint of earthiness lend it many nuances. The tangy, electric acidity immediately flows over the palate and gives it brightness and vigour. The finish is long and clean, culminating in a hint of sweet red cherry and a welcome touch of ripeness. This wine is suitable both as an aperitif and for dinner." Vinous

“La Caduta” Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2020
Dark and rich in the glass, with spicy herbs and a hint of cinnamon that fades into black raspberries. La Caduta is luxurious, silky and round with a dense wave of mineral red and black fruits that slowly saturate the palate. The finish is structured and incredibly long, with hints of salted liquorice and spice that linger. La Caduta is a real Rosso insider tip alongside Fuligni's Ginestreto and is full of potential every year. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red colour with brightening edges. Shows a certain depth on the nose, reminiscent of violets, cherries, blackberries and blood oranges, fine spice and some leather. Juicy and with fine pressure on the palate, showing clear fruit and a velvety texture, with a lingering final and good persistence." Falstaff
"Attractive nose of dried cherries, candied oranges, chocolate and walnuts. Medium- to full-bodied, tense and fleshy on the palate, with firm but very fine tannins. Juicy and spicy." James Suckling

Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2023
Altesino's Rosso di Montalcino, aged for eight months in Slavonian oak barrels, offers a persistent bouquet of cherry, pomegranate, earth and eucalyptus. It is silky smooth and polished, with racy red and black fruits flowing over a stream of vibrant acidity. The finish is beautifully taut, slightly tannic and classically dry, with subtle echoes of liquorice and spice. SUPERIORE.DE
"A graceful nose of menthol, red currants, orange peel and herbs. The attack is medium-bodied with ripe, velvety, silky tannins, lifted acidity and a savory finish. Precise, with a crunchy style at the end and a lively aftertaste." James Suckling
