Wines from Veneto

Due Uve bianco is a cheerful and informal blend of Chardonnay and Garganega and pays homage to the volcanic soils that characterise the vineyards east of Verona. The Garganega is cold-soaked on the skins just before pressing, and both grape components are fermented in French oak barrels. Produced using the appassimento or Amarone method, this Valpolicella has a rich ruby-violet colour. The volcanic soils of Monte di Colognola give Monte Ceriani a mineral framework, a symmetrical matrix of flint and phenol in which the fruit flesh is deeply embedded. Munus is the only red Bardolino cuvée from Guerrieri Rizzardi that matures in barrels. The grapes are a selection from some of the oldest vineyards on the Bardolino estate, the label dates back to 1982 and was designed as a tribute to Countess Maria Cristina Loredan Rizzardi.
